		<description>Hi Erkko,

Interesting debate. How low can the Opera browser go in terms of phone price points ? Opera mini is only a thin Java-based interpreter for pre-processed HTML pages, not a full browser. But I agree that it's the best browser-like
technology available for low-end phones.

With regards to Mozilla, I assume you are referring to Minimo. I have not heard of any OEM deploying Minimo, but I 'm aware that Nokia tried it (it had invested in Minimo development) and then turned it down because the browser was too resource-intensive (that was 2 years ago or so). Are you aware of any OEMs planning to use Minimo as a browser ?

<description>I have to agree in principle that the vision here is right and I wish it was this simple. But, at the end of the day Opera is the closest at the moment to providing what low-end mobile phones needs to deliver a real browsing experience, not Webkit.

Also Webkit will not alone be able to fully commoditize the browser market, Mozilla will be entering the same field, and a few proprietary players will always exist.</description>
