Hi Elizabeth, thanks a lot for the comment

...and I'm pretty sure the web experience, through Fennec (based on firefox 3) will be equal to the oe we have on PC today (The real Flash plugin will be integrated also ... this is a x86 after all).
So I tend to agree with you, even if the way paved by the iPhone is more a mix of web application AND connected applications (RIA).
For a lot of services (like a calendar or an address book especially on a phone) a native application offers a really better user experience, and those applications have to be VERY user friendly and attractive to make a successful device.
I think they need both :-)

I don't think Intel needs to create a platform with a great user experience. They simply need to leverage a platform that already offers a great user experience - The Web.

Adding functionality to the mobile Web browsers and adding context to mobile Web transaction allows developers and businesses to deliver Mobile Web Services/Mobile SaaS solutions to their mobile employees and mobile customers.

Intel should not reinvent the wheel, they should leverage what their existing development community is comfortable with and make it possible to deliver an exceptional Web application experience via the mobile browser.
