Hi Ari,
Thanks for the feedback and also for participating.

I think that consolidation will be achieved at some point, to a certain extent. Not to the extent you're suggesting, i.e the web, but at least fewer platforms. We'll also have to wait and see what happens with the app stores.

Hi!
I was surveyed yesterday by phone. The questions were very relevant.
At the end she asked me if I had anything to add, and I mentioned: Fragmentation is going to be the end of us. We should strive to a model like the web.
Currently manufacturers do their best to be different. For us devs it's not good. I want all users to be able to enjoy my work, not based on platform.

regards,

Hi Alexander,
It's nice to see someone so passionate about their platform.

We'd be happy to hear your views on our survey.

We develop for iPhone, Android, Palm Pre and we looked into S60 & WinMo.

I don't know who you asked, but the iPhone is so much advanced compared to any platform that I would not even dare to put it on the same list with all the others.

Developing for the iPhone is a total joy.

All my devs beg me to get the iPhone projects assigned.
