At mPortal we have done a lot of work in feature phones in emerging markets and continue find that there is no &quot;silver bullet&quot; in addressing this segment despite several claims!! While I am not sure we will see a poor man&#039;s iPhone I do agree that the sub-100$ android devices will dramatically change the landscape and alter existing mkt structures. While most people ignore this as an emerging market play, we are seeing to the contrary a significant interest in the poor man&#039;s android phone even in the US where a customer of ours recently launched a Huawei Android device at sub 100$ prices but without the GOOG layer . </description>
