We've launched our new report, Mobile Platforms: The Clash of Ecosystems which is a critical analysis of major mobile platforms and their battle for dominance.
In the report we break down Android, BlackBerry OS, BREW, iOS, Symbian, Windows Phone and webOS across key elements such as history and origins, owner agenda, ecosystem adoption, market penetration, technology foundations and application development experience. Droidcon London 2011 is Europe's largest conference that exclusively

VisionMobile have published a new report , the 'Open Governance Index'.
This research report introduces a new way of measuring the openness of open source projects.
The Open Governance Index measures the true openness of eight open source projects - Android, Qt, Symbian, MeeGo, Mozilla, WebKit, Linux and Eclipse - and analyses how governance, and not licenses, tell the full story of a project's openness, across transparency, influence and control. VisionMobile in “webinos” project
The new, EU-funded project “webinos” is an effort to deliver a standardised technology that will allow web applications to be deployed across a wide range of devices, spanning consumer electronics, cars, PC and mobile – “one app for all”, as the BBC so eloquently put it!
VisionMobile will be leading the analysis of developer requirements, state of the nation in mobile operating systems as well as open source governance, licensing and IPR frameworks. VisionMobile will also be leading all dissemination activities of the project.

VisionMobile Names Top 15 Mobile Software Product
We have just issued a press release naming the top 15 mobile software products for 2009, in terms of cumulative shipments. These products represent the top half of the 30 products featured in the 100 Million Club, the watchlist of mobile software products embedded in more than 100 million devices.
The 15 products included in our press release have all been embedded in more than 500 million devices as of the end of 2009, while 7 of them have been shipped in more than 1 billion. These products range from browsers and operating systems to Java VMs and messaging middleware.

Magma VC presents Mobile Megatrends '10 in Israel

Mobile Trends 2020
m-trends.org, one of the most popular blogs on the mobile industry, has been making predictions on future trends for some time now.
